Coaches last supper
Local cricket coaches got together for the final time this summer at The Wickets Hotel in Rishton in an end of term party.
Elite Cricket Coaching founder and Head Coach Russ Cuddihy who organised the evening said: "We've had a get together as a thank you to the local professionals from the Lancashire and Ribblesdale Leagues and some of the qualified coaches from the Lancashire League clubs for going into schools to help with all the coaching. If you work it all out we've spent 7,000 hours coaching children for the future benefit of the game of cricket."
The team of coaches have carried out tuition in 70 schools in North East Lancashire during the summer. Youngsters in Pendle, Rossendale, Chorley and Hyndburn have all benefited from the groups expert skills.
Professionals Graham Lloyd (Bootle), Andre Seymore (Accrington), Wes Morrick (Oswaldtwistle Immanuel), Naeem Ashraf (Cherry Tree), Rob Nicol (Rishton) and local coaches Damian Clarke, Steve Juliff, Simon Butterworth, Danny Kegg, Stuart Lemon, Lee Boyer were all presented with Elite Cricket Coaching t-shirts from the former Accrington captain and Cricket Chairman who founded the company last year.
